Saturday Weather Blog

Saturday is a soggy one with scattered showers likely on and off through the day. Temperatures will top out in the 60s for most of the state this afternoon.

A few thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening before we dry out. Severe weather is not expected, but heavy rainfall is likely at times as a cold front passes over us.

While Saturday won't be a washout, it will be rather soggy. Many areas could pick up near an inch of rainfall from this event. We'll dry out before midnight tonight.

Sunday is dry, but windy and cooler. A northwest wind up to 40 miles per hour will drop high temperatures into the 50s. Cloudy skies may produce a sprinkle or shower in the NW hills.

Temperatures will rebound back into the 70s by Monday, leading to a warm end to April. The first day of May on Thursday should see highs in the 60s.
