The weather will be sunny and warm today with temperatures near 80 degrees for Connecticut cities and towns that are away from the Sound.
Clouds will thicken tonight, and Memorial Day weekend starts with on-and-off rain showers Saturday and they could be heavy briefly.
It will clear Saturday night and the weather will be cooler and sunny on Sunday and Monday.
Warmer weather comes next week.
