Schools Delayed After Snow in Litchfield County

There are several school days this morning because of snow in parts of Litchfield County and there are also several issues on the road.

A coating of up to two inches of "upslope" snow is possible, especially at elevations over 1,000 feet. There may be locally higher totals along the Massachusetts border.

The snow won’t be terribly heavy, but it will make roads slippery. The flurries will continue on and off through today.

Norfolk fire officials cautioned drivers to be on alert due to icy roads Tuesday night after a fatal crash on Route 44.

The rest of the state shouldn’t see any accumulation.
