Scattered Showers Continue Wednesday

A cold front will finally move through the state Wednesday, albeit slowly, so a good amount of clouds will stick around.

Increasing sunshine is expected, but a stray shower is still possible. The threat for severe weather remains low.

Temperatures will soar into the 80s, and that's where they will peak each afternoon for the rest of the week.

Dry weather returns in force Thursday, but another cold front will bring more showers Friday night.

A few showers will linger Saturday morning, but then the rest of the weekend will be dry.

High temperatures through the holiday weekend will be in the lower and middle 80s.
