Several schools opened late Thursday morning after snow Wednesday that lingered into Thursday morning and caused slick roads.
Some parts of Connecticut have a coating while around six and a half inches of snow fell in Fairfield, 6.3 inches fell in Ledyard and 5.1 inches fell in Milford.
The snow prompted flight cancelations at Bradley Airport Thursday morning as airlines worked to get back to normal flight operations, but airline schedules are back to normal.
