Abbey Carnivale is the host of CT Live on NBC Connecticut, which airs weekdays at 11:30 a.m.

A proud graduate of the Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University (Class of 2017), Abbey launched her career at ESPN in Bristol, where she worked behind the scenes as a production assistant for SportsCenter. Over four years, she rose to the role of social media producer, covering marquee events like the NBA All-Star Game, UFC Fight Nights in Vegas, and the College Football Playoff.

In 2021, Abbey transitioned to on-air reporting as a multimedia journalist with Spectrum News in New York’s Hudson Valley. She later anchored the evening news at Western Mass News in Springfield, Massachussetts.

But Connecticut always felt like home, and in May 2025, she made her return, this time in front of the camera.

Now a proud Nutmegger, Abbey spends her free time exploring the state, from beach days at Hammonasset to hikes at the West Hartford Reservoir and Pilates sessions at her favorite local studio.

Originally from South Jersey, Abbey embraces her Philly sports fandom with pride. She shares her New England life with her fiancée and their beloved dog, Homie.
