Amelia Fabiano joined NBC10 Boston as a weekend evening anchor and reporter in July 2025.
She had spent her career moving around the country, from the mountains of Virginia to the beaches of southwest Florida to the desert heat of Arizona, all in the name of sharing stories that connect people to their communities and each other. Massachusetts, though, is home and it's a privilege for her to now be a journalist for the communities that raised her.
She was born in the Bay State, raised in Londonderry, New Hampshire, and is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
Before returning home, Amelia anchored weekend mornings and reported weekdays at ABC15 in Phoenix. She had previously spent time anchoring and reporting at NBC2 in Fort Myers, Florida — where she also met her husband, Michael. Her career began as a general assignment reporter at WFXR in Roanoke, Virginia.
When she’s not in the studio or chasing down stories, you can usually find her experimenting with new recipes, curled up with a good book, or trying a local restaurant. She’s also the proud cat mom to two beloved troublemakers, Ollie and Luna.
