Eddie Randle an NBC Connecticut anchor and you can see him alongside Taylor Kinzler on NBC Connecticut Today weekdays from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Eddie is a dedicated journalist and storyteller with nearly two decades in the industry.
He began his career at WVLA in Baton Rouge, Louisiana working behind the scenes as a morning camera operator before moving to his hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas, where he worked at KFDX as an associate producer, editor, photographer, and eventually as reporter.
Eddie worked at FOX 23 in Tulsa, 9NEWS in Denver, and most recently at KSN in Wichita, Kansas as the morning anchor.
Eddie has a lot of experience covering severe weather, including tornadoes in southeastern Oklahoma, which won him a regional Emmy.
Eddie also spent more than a week in North Carolina covering Hurricane Florence in 2018.
Eddie calls his sobriety one of his greatest accomplishments, and loves telling stories centered in the recovery community and doing his part to break the stigma of addiction.
He is also passionate about finding what works for you to live a healthy lifestyle, and became a certified spin instructor and completed his first half marathon while in Kansas.
Eddie loves telling stories that have a strong community impact, and believes it's the job of journalists to be trailblazers and amplify the voices that so often go unheard.
He looks forward learning and experiencing everything Connecticut and New England have to offer!
