Shoppers at one local Target are getting ready for tax free week and plan on taking advantage of the savings on their back to school shopping lists
Whether you need to do back-to-school shopping or just want to add to your wardrobe, next week is the time to do it.
The week-long sales tax holiday starts on Sunday and continues through Saturday, Aug. 23.
For one week, you will not have to pay sales and use tax on most clothing and footwear selling for less than $300.
School supplies are not included in the tax-free holiday.
Before jotting down your shopping list, check the list online of the types of clothing and footwear that will be tax-exempt.
