Connecticut River Ferries Suspended Indefinitely Due to Coronavirus Pandemic

Service on the Connecticut River ferries is suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The state Department of Transportation made the announcement on Monday.

The two Connecticut River ferries travel between Glastonbury and Rocky Hill and Chester and Hadlyme.

The service typically runs from April 1 to November 30 annually.
