Berlin Priest to Face Judge for Endangering Minor

The case of a Berlin priest charged with risk of injury to a minor has been continued.

Fr. Michael Miller, of Saint Paul's Catholic Church, was suspended from the public ministry after he was arrested earlier this month and the case was in court on Tuesday.

A judge sealed the details of the case, but NBC Connecticut has learned that the accusations do not involve physical contact. The court documents will remain sealed until at least Aug. 16.

Miller has been at St. Paul for five years and cannot return if the criminal charges are deemed credible, according to the Archdiocese of Hartford.

Miller was released on $150,000 bond.
