A 24-year-old Bethel man is accused of sexually assaulting a person in front of a young child.

Police arrested Marcello Astudillo, of Drummers Lane, in his home on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. in an investigation into a domestic violence complaint. The victim told police that Astudillo was attacked and sexually assaulted in the presence of a child who was at the home.
He was charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Police didn't release information on the ages of the victim and child.
Astudillo is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Monday, March 30.
