Blumenthal Concerned About FEMA funds

Irene may be one of nation's most expensive storms

Irene is likely to turn out to be one of the most expensive storms in U.S. history and U.S.Sen. Richard Blumenthal said he's concerned that FEMA won't have enough money to compensate all the Connecticut towns that were impacted.

The state's junior senator took a six-town tour of some of the hardest hit areas on Thursday.

Local municipalities can't budget for natural disasters and FEMA's focus has to be on getting financial help to to those who need it, he said.
