Class Helps Mom Get Off the Streets

Amber Mills, a Hartford mother of three, was living out of her car and cheap motels. She wanted a change and enrolled in the Urban League of Greater Hartford’s Medical Administrative Specialist Career Training Program. With her new training, she landed a job at St. Francis Hospital as a records clerk and turned her life around.
