A dog sitter is being sued for more than $6,000 over the heat exposure death of her client's prized English bulldog.
Gerard Carbonaro, of Oxford, said the sitter left his dog, Riot, on deck without shade in 93-degree heat in July.
Carbonaro said the dog sitter knew about Riot's medical history and was told to keep the dog off the deck during the daytime heat.
