One person was taken to the hospital after an SUV slammed into a house in Middletown.
A driver crashed into a house in Middletown Friday morning and was taken to the hospital.
Fire officials said a woman who was driving south on Camp Street just before noon lost control and hit the house.
She was conscious and alert and has been taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, police said. No one else was in the vehicle, according to fire officials.
No residents were home when the crash happened and police said the homeowners have been notified.
The Middletown Building Inspector was called in to assess the damage to the home.
