Firefighters in South Killingly rescued a puppy that fell down a well on Sunday.
A puppy fell eight feet down an open well while walking into the woods off of Wright Road.
South Killingly firefighter Levi Davis was lowered into the well and was able to grab the puppy and bring him to safety.
The 16-week-old puppy suffered no injuries and was happily returned to its owner.
