Some Slick Spots Possible During Monday Morning Commute

It’s a cold start to the week and some towns had some snow.

A few towns where temperatures are around freezing could have some slippery spots Monday morning.

A winter weather advisory was up for Litchfield County from 4 a.m. Sunday through 4 a.m. Monday and the NBC Connecticut meteorologists had issued a First Alert for icy conditions.

Black ice issues are possible for early Monday morning before sunshine mixes with clouds and temperatures warm to near 40 degrees.

Expect a bitterly cold day to follow on Tuesday with wind chills that will hold in the teens.
