William Stortz, the 85-year-old former mayor of Bristol, has been found safe.
Stortz left Bristol around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday to go to New Britain for an appointment and made it to that appointment but had not returned to Bristol, according to police.
Police said Thursday morning that he was found safe.
