Inspired by Parents' Story, Daughter of Afghan Refugees Earns Rhodes Scholarship

A Southern Connecticut State University student is now being recognized as a, “Rhodes Scholar.” Asma Rahimyar has a 4.0 GPA and is pursuing a double bachelors degree at SCSU, but her professors say it’s much more than her academic achievement that made her stand out.
