It'll Make a Great Country Song

A country singer might have gotten the idea for a new country hit when police arrested him at MGM Grand at Foxwoods after they allegedly found him with a sawed-off shotgun in his hotel room.

Police busted Matthew Humphreys Tuesday night, the Norwich Bulletin reports.

The gun was disassembled, police told the newspaper. The ammunition was in Humphreys' truck in the casino parking lot, they said.

His arraignment was postponed because of a medical condition, the paper reported.

Humphreys, 47, of Atlanta has several country albums.  His latest album, Straight from the Gut, came out in 2008 and includes songs such as "Dumber Than a Rock," "Shooting for the Sun," and "Loose Screw."
