East Windsor Restaurant Closes After 26 Years in Business

A popular restaurant on South Main Street in East Windsor has closed its doors after more than two decades.

A sign on the outside of Jonathan Pasco's at 31 South Main Street says, "CLOSED THANK YOU FOR 26 YEARS." The restaurant posted a similar notice on its Facebook page Wednesday evening.

"We want to thank all of our customers for a wonderful 26 years, unfortunately we are closed," the message says. "Thank you for your patronage."

The restaurant's phone goes unanswered. It's not clear what prompted the closure.

According to Pasco's website, which is still active, the building dates back to 1784.
