Luke Bronin won the Democratic mayoral primary in Hartford on Wednesday and he will hold a news conference with Gov. Dannel Malloy this afternoon.
The preliminary results indicated Bronin garnered 55 percent of vote to incumbent Mayor Pedro Segarra's 45 percent. Nearly 10,000 votes were cast on Wednesday.
A news release from the state Democratic Party says the news conference will be held at Bronin’s campaign office at 1:15 p.m.
