Move Over, Mad Men!

Local students make their mark with a Super Bowl ad

There's a newcomer to Madison Avenue's ad shops: Students at the Canterbury Elementary School will watch their commercial run right alongside the big-spenders of Anheiser-Busch and Audi during the Super Bowl on NBC.  Sort of.

They answered the call of grocery store Big Y's "Lights! Camera! Points!" commercial contest.

The ad had to express "Why your school supports the Education Express Program."

While not the grand prize winner, the school is still taking home 1,000,000 Education Express points which schools can use to purchase supplies and equipment.

Perhaps coolest of all, though, their ad will be shown during a local break on NBC30 on Sunday.

Yet another reason to watch the ads during the Super Bowl!
