No Consent for Certain Procedures is Legal in CT, Lawmakers Discuss a Change

Right now, it is legal in CT and other states to give a prostate or pelvic exam while the patient is under anesthesia without consent beforehand. A new bill if passed, would require written consent from the patient after everything has been explained.
