Norwalk Woman Pleads Guilty to Beating Brother With Bat

A Norwalk woman convicted of beating her brother with a baseball bat is facing five years behind bars.

Amber Greco pleaded guilty on Monday to charges stemming from the December 2014 bat attack, as well as drunken driving and violating a judge's protective order, according to court records.

The 23-year-old woman is scheduled to be sentenced to five years in prison on Dec. 5.

Following prison, Greco will spend five years on special parole — a probationary period where she can be jailed immediately for any violation.

Prosecutors say Greco struck her 25-year-old brother in the face with an aluminum bat, breaking his nose, then struck him on the ribs, arms and legs during a fight at home after they had been at a bar together.
