The roof of a detached garage collapsed in Tolland on Thursday morning and police are urging residents to safely rake as much snow off roof as possible.
Crews responded to the collapse at Johnson and Cook roads around 8:45 a.m. and police said no one was injured.
This comes after two weeks of snowstorms and another 3 to 5 inches of new snow on Thursday.
Earlier this week, part of the roof of an apartment complex in Montville collapsed and officials said the weight of all the snow over the last two weeks contributed to that collapse.
