Classes have resumed at East Haven Academy after reports of a bomb threat on Monday morning.
Officers said they do not believe it is a credible threat, but East Haven Academy and Joseph Melillo Middle School were evacuated as a precaution.
Students were returned to their respective school buildings after both schools were cleared and classes have resumed, authorities said.
No signs of explosives were detected, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Police determined an elementary school-aged child called in the threat. The child cannot be charged due to their age, according to police.
