West Hartford police responded to the American School for the Deaf Tuesday morning after the school received an "unverified" threat, according to authorities.
The school is located on North Main Street.
After investigating for several hours, police determined there was no substantiated threat to the public. They cleared the scene and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
