New Haven police are investigating a crash at Middletown Avenue and Front Street.
Police are investigating after a train struck vehicle left on the tracks in New Haven Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on the tracks near Middletown Avenue and Front Street. Amtrak officials said the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash and no one was hurt. The engineer and a conductor were the only people on the train at the time.
