A man died from injuries he suffered when a tree fell on him in Haddam Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to a home on Plains Road after 1pm after reports a man was injured by a tree.
A medical helicopter transported the man to a city hospital where he later died.
Investigators say the victim was cutting trees in his backyard when the accident occurred.
Police have not yet released the victim's identity.
