Trump: CDC Recommends Americans Wear Face Masks

President Donald Trump announced new recommendations from the CDC on Friday, which include the use of cloth face masks as additional preventative measures against the coronavirus. Trump stressed that the use of face masks was voluntary and that he would not be opting to wear one. U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams also clarified why the CDC changed its recommendation regarding face masks, and both he and the president asked the public to save medical-grade masks for healthcare workers.
