Enfield police say one person has died after the SUV he was driving crashed into a building on Hazard Avenue.
One person was killed after his white SUV crashed into a business in Enfield on Sunday night.
The crash happened at Al's Carpet One, near the intersection of Hazard Avenue and Broadbrook Road around 9:15 p.m., and the driver was transported to Baystate Medical Center, where he died, police said.
Police have not released the name of the person who was killed.
There is considerable damage to the building and Hazard Avenue was closed for several hours while the traffic squad investigated.
