Two people were taken to the hospital after a wrong-way crash that closed Interstate 95 North in New Haven early Thursday morning.
State police said a Honda CRV was going south on the northbound side of the highway, near the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge at Exit 50, just after 2 a.m. and hit a tractor-trailer head-on.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The driver of the Honda CRV, a 20-year-old Terryville woman, and her passenger, a 19-year-old New Haven woman, were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital to be treated for injuries that police said are not life-threatening.
