Four White Tiger Cubs Debut in Poland Zoo

Four white tiger cubs made their debut in a central Poland zoo on Monday. This is the third successful delivery by their mother. Their white coloring is due to a recessive gene and not because they are albino. Animal rights groups have criticized the breeding of white tiger cubs because it requires inbreeding, which can cause genetic defects. It is estimated there are only 200 white tigers left in the world and this zoo houses 117 of them.
