Jorge Posada, the former Yankees catcher, has something to be grateful for this holiday season. According to The Real Deal, Posada finally sold his Upper East Side condo for $9.5 million, which is actually $200,000 above the apartment's most recent asking price.
Despite scoring a sweet deal on the home, it hasn't been an easy road for Posada. He originally listed the full-floor unit a year ago for $11.5 million, and in subsequent months the luxe condo underwent three price cuts. Despite the wavering asking price, Posada's pad remained as lavish as ever. It includes four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a media room, and kitchen with double Wolf ovens and teak cabinetry.
Located in the swanky Seville building, a 31-story, full-service condo tower, the full-floor spread hadn't always been so spacious. Posada combined two units (11A and 11B), shelling out $3.2 million for 11B in 2003 and another $3.6 million in 2007 for unit 11A.
