The 1958 NYC Stabbing That Almost Killed MLK, 10 Years Before His Assassination

Ten years before the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968 he was almost killed at a book signing in New York City. We look back at the story NBC New York journalist Gabe Pressman covered in 1958, when King was stabbed by a woman in Blumstein’s Deaprtment Store and ended up in Harlem Hospital.
