Madonna Auctioning Off Personal Items Including Lyrics, a Diary and Yearbook

Get ready to dance in Madonna's old clothes.
Julien's Auctions announced Tuesday that items from the pop icon's personal and professional life will be auctioned Nov. 7-8.
Pieces from her "Material Girl," ''Music" and "American Pie" music videos will be offered during the Icons & Idols: Rock n' Roll auction in Beverly Hills, California. More than 30 items from the 1996 film "Evita" will also be available.

If you thought it was hard to keep up with Madonna and her ever-changing personas in the 1990s, it was even harder to keep up with all the guest stars — like Nicki Minaj — she managed to squeeze into her far-ranging 12-minute Super Bowl performance in 2012.

Clad in a black leather and lace corset with removable miniskirt, Beyonce’s 2013 Super Bowl outing may have lacked the out-sized spectacle of Madonna’s Egyptian inspired headdresses, Vogueing and endless parade of special appearances by artists including MIA and LMFAO in 2012, but what it excelled with was an onslaught of foot-thumping rythms, gyrating dancing and full-throated vocals.

The Material Girl also managed to cram in three costume changes and seven songs into her stunning show, which hit several periods from her 30-year career right up to "Give Me All Your Luvin," the single she released just Friday.
Julien's Auctions said some of the awards that Madonna has won over the years will also be offered, including an MTV Video Music Award and an American Music Award.
The auction will also include written lyrics, a diary from 1988, signed checks and a 1972 yearbook.
