Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say an argument over spitting led to a man being shot in both legs.
The victim was listed in stable condition Sunday morning as Allentown police searched for the gunman.
Police say the 25-year-old victim reported spitting on the sidewalk Saturday evening. They say a man walking nearby took offense, and argument began.
The victim told police he apologized, but said the suspect shot him anyway and then fled.
