Pfizer Looks to Get FDA Authorization for Potentially Life-Saving COVID Pill

Pfizer submitted an application to the FDA for emergency authorization of its COVID-19 treatment pill. The company said clinical trials showed it reduces hospitalizations and deaths by 89% when taken with a common HIV drug.
