Trump, French President Macron Have Intense Handshake

President Trump met newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron in Brussels on May 25. Trump praised Macron’s “incredible victory” before the two men locked in what looked like a very tight handshake. Trump appeared to pull away while Macron held tightly for a few seconds more. Macron has been critical of Trump in the past, denouncing Trump’s comments on leaving the Paris Climate Treaty.
