Face the Facts: Plastic Bag Fee Begins Statewide

Plastic bags are on the way out. Big Y and Stop & Shop got rid of them this week to start the shift over to reusable bags. Other Connecticut retailers will charge you 0 cents a piece if you want one for now, but they will be banned statewide by July 2021.
