Lookin at Lucky won the 135th Preakness Stakes on Saturday, ending Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver's run at the Triple Crown.
The 3-year old colt sprinted to victory past long shot, First Dude, in the last turn of the 1-3/16 miles track.
Lookin at Lucky was the favorite at the Kentucky Derby, but came in a disappointing sixth place, prompting trainer Bob Baffeert to let jockey Martin Garcia takeover and hold the reigns.
Super Saver's loss means that fans will have to wait another year for a Triple Crown winner . Affirmed was the last horse to achieve the feat, in 1978.
