Manchester Native Sets English Channel Swim Record

Making it across the English Channel has been called the Everest of open water swimming. Manchester native Dr. Marcy MacDonald recently accomplished this feat for the 15th time–a new American record. MacDonald, who is a podiatrist, made the 21 mile swim this past June 30th on the 20th anniversary of her first swim across the English Channel.
