New Britain Bees Get Players With Disabilities on the Field

The team’s disability advocate, Bruce Weiler is the co-founder of The Beautiful Lives Project, and for a third year straight, that means encouraging people of all abilities to come play ball with the professional athletes that take the field at New Britain Stadium. Weiler himself is blind, but he’s learned what it means to be part of a team, a lesson he’s now sharing with people across the country.
