Berlin Police Shoot Suspect

A Berlin resident is being treated for wounds received after he was shot by a Berlin police officer. Police responded to a domestic disturbance around 10PM Thursday night. When officers arrived Jeffrey Yeaw opened fire at them from his porch. No police officers were hit but police did return fire striking Yeaw. It is not clear how many times Yeaw was hit. Police tell NBC CT that his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
