Budget Proposal Includes Bottle Deposit Fee

Part of the governor’s latest budget proposal would expand the bottle bill and add a 25 cent deposit on bottles of wine and liquor. The proposal estimates that the fee could generate 13 million dollars in fiscal year 2019.
