Cancer Survivors Create Mural at Hartford Hospital

Mary Lowengard and her mother Elaine Lowengard both survived cancer, and know how difficult battling the disease can be. As a thank you to the help they received from Hartford Hospital, Mary set out to change a bleak gray wall that made up the view outside Elaine’s room into a mural to give cancer patients something beautiful to look at during treatment.
