Historic Oyster Barge in New Haven Heading to New York

A piece of floating Connecticut history is preparing to sail away. Earlier this month, work began to deconstruct an oyster barge that’s been unoccupied in New Haven for decades and send it to New York. It was originally used in the 1800’s as a floating sales room for oysters from Connecticut.
