Most State Swimming Areas Reopened

The day after poor water quality forced the closure of several state park swimming areas, state environmental officials said all but two will be open for the coming weekend.All shoreline and inland beaches with the exception of Chatfield Hollow, Killingworth will be open for the upcoming holiday weekend. Chatfield Hollow is being retested on Thursday and results will be available on Friday.
